Several aspects should be paid attention to in slip ring design:
1,The crawling distance between rings and between rings and between rings and shells must meet the design standard of 10kV. In general, the design needs to reach more than three times the standard in order to prevent voltage breakdown.
2,The current carrying capacity of the cross-sectional area of the slip ring and the current carrying capacity of the brush must be greater than 1.5 times of the working current to avoid burning the slip ring due to excessive current.
3,The design shall consider the working environment of the slip ring.
4,Carbon brush needs regular maintenance.
If all these criteria are met, simply observe the wear of the carbon brush when used under high pressure.
